Mold and Asbestos Certification
Certified Mould & Asbestos (Hazmat) staff and insured for 2 Million in liability for mould and or asbestos remediation.
Preliminary inspections and basic testing for generic investigations are completed in house to reduce costs to our customer. Self monitored testing also reduces the potential failures at the finality of a project therefore saving time and money. A very close relationship is maintained with our Independent Industrial Hygienist to deliver the best quality service at the lowest costs possible, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our customer.
Estimating and Costs Charged
Job flow is coordinated via the use of Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Symbility & POI
Overhead and Profit is ‘typically’ 10% + 10%. (Variable based on work volumes)
Estimate fees only charged on assignment type projects and agreed upon in advance.
Rental Type, Quantity and Rates
85 air movers- $32.00 per unit per day.
35 Dehumidifiers- 2400’s LGR 2000’s, 1200’s, - Xactimate based price rates for standard equipment. ($60 - $120 each per unit per day)
Inject-a-dry system – hardwood floor drying system $120.00day
Large volume trailer mounted desiccant dehumidifier and powered independently by a 46Kw Generator. Rates are based on the project. Available when required.
Six air scrubbers / large volume negative air machines- $90-$160 per day per unit (Hepa filter replacement added only when required $180.00)
1=3 phase 46 Kw power sound attenuated generator c/w 200 Gallon Diesel Tank (5 Days non stop use between fillings) Electrical sub-panels available. (Priced per use)
Advanced thermo imagery equipment and reporting software. $90.00hr
Vaportek Industrial, Shark and Single cell units- $40 per day per cell.

Facilities
One located in Kitchener includes main office and restoration warehouse and an additional 2500 square feet warehouse facility. All temperature controlled for the preservation of contents.
On site Ozone and secure document drying rooms are also in place.

Secondary claim monitors and verification of procedures, witness and detailed reporting and analysis.
Quality Assurance Program
All projects inspected with by the Project Construction Managers during reconstructions to assure scheduling and quality is maintained.
Certificate of satisfaction signed. Follow up letters are sent to address any remaining concerns. The initial Estimator or Project Construction Manager follow up with any concerns and resolved to a reasonable satisfaction as required. Senior management are involved immediately in any disputes. Any complaints not immediately rectified by the applicable Project Construction Manager, are forwarded to Jamie Yost ( President) to be reviewed and resolved along side the insured and as required with the insurer.
Catastrophe Plan
As a preferred vendor, First General Services - Kitchener, agrees to handle a minimum of 40-60 claims per outline set provincially. Should the catastrophe be isolated to just our region, Further assistance from our remaining offices will increase the work load ability.
